How to clean a knife vintage western?
I have a Western knife vintage that belonged to my grandfather, who is like this, just another image recorded in http://store.leescutlery.com/viwesphetfok.html during the years he has accumulated a kind of green corrosion on metal parts (not the page.) It is stored in leather. What can I use to remove this green thing?
try some warm soapy water and an old toothbrush. Polished or aggressive cleaning removes the patina, but had accumulated over the years, and whether wood or stone in the handle, which could be damaged by harsh chemicals. Sure to dry completely when you're finished and give a very light wipedown with a little oil and cleaning of light on a cloth (or WD-40 oil 3-1)
