When did Harley Davidson start using the belt drive Sportster?
in 1992, all Sportster models obtained by the belt end. in 1991 was only 883 Deluxe and 1200. My 1991 883 was a chain drive 5-speed, the only year you could get this combination. belts are quiet, clean and virtually maintenance-free, but it makes me nervous … How can we trust what not, right?
