What is the correct way to apply a pin with a vintage hat to keep it securely on your head?
I love the years 50 and am in the rockabilly style. I have collected several vintage hats and those that require a pin that passes through the CAP and its hair to stay, which failed miserably at. Most of the time I finished sewing myself (ouch!) And others who get a piece of hair, but ends up slipping. What is the technical appropriate? Thank you all for your time and help!
